Hedcor recognizes partners

It was an event filled with exchanges of appreciation and acknowledgement as Hedcor held its very first Landowners’ Thanksgiving Day in Davao recently.

Throughout the intimate gathering, Hedcor emphasized how it owed its success to the trust and partnership it has built with the landowners. But more than the partnership, the family-like relationship is what Hedcor is most thankful for.

Carlos Aboitiz, Hedcor president and COO, shared that amidst the ups and downs of the relationship, the landowners loyalty and trust is what brought Hedcor this far.

“Dako namong pasalamat nga kami inyong padayon nga gi dawat ug nahimong kabahin sa inyong komunidad isip kauban sa inyong paglambo ug sa pag asenso. (We are expressing our gratitude to you our landowners for accepting us to be in your community and to be part in your growth and development), Aboitiz said to the partners.

Pioneering landowners and community leaders were also given special acknowledgement for providing vital support during Hedcor Sibulan’s early years.

A few happy tears were shed as the landowners and community leaders took their turn in expressing their gratitude towards Hedcor.

Datu Rudy Agtag said, “Hedcor has helped bring improvements and modernization to the community without compromising the preservation of our rich culture and traditions.”

The rest of the day was spent sharing stories and playing games, as both continued to express their desire to improve the wonderful relationship they have built throughout the years.
