Davao terminal drivers yield negative results during surprise drug test by Pdea 11

The new 50 folding beds donated by the Office of the President will be ready for use for the priority passengers starting Undas season.

“Gibuatang nato sa guidelines na priority na makagamit ang mga senior citizens, buntis, persons with disability (PWDs) and katong mga naay bata na gagmay (In the guidelines, the priority passenger who can use the folding beds are the senior citizens, pregnant women, PWDs, and those with toddlers),” Aisa Usop, head of the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT), said in an interview with SunStar Davao last Monday, October 29, 2018.

She further said she might allow the use of the new folding beds during the Undas season where they expect bulk of passengers to wait at DCOTT.

Usop said they will only ask for a valid Identification Card (ID) if a passenger would like to avail.

Meanwhile, Usop warned individuals who have been going to the bus terminal just to sleepover.

“Kana atong mga folding beds intended lang gyud na sa mga pasahero (Our folding beds are only intended for the passenger),” Usop said, adding she will not tolerate those who just sleep inside DCOTT.
