The budget this year is more than double than budget in 2017

The city government of Davao allotted P42 million budget for the Winter Wonderland concept and programs of the annual Pasko Fiesta.

City Tourism head, Generose Tecson, said yesterday during the Ispeak media forum that, as a whole, the city is already 75 percent ready for the celebration.

“The theme po this year is Winter Wonderland. The decorations would be leaning towards yung mga snowman, snowflakes, and color patterns are monochromatic from blue to white,” Tecson said, adding that the design is available in the website of the city.

She further said the decoration of the city in this year’s theme is much likely the same cost from last year but livelier and more colorful.

Tecson showed the list of activities of the Pasko Fiesta with the new events such as the Pasko Fiesta Salu-Salo on November 30 to December 2, 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 28-30 from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. and Sayaw sa Pasko Fiesta Dance Competition on December 1 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
