PDEA 11 nabs brgy official for drugs

A barangay official was arrested yesterday for being involved in illegal drugs,

The suspect was identified as Victoriano Villondo Duria Jr., 45, married and Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Kilagding, Laak, Compostela Valley Province. He was number eight in the drug target list of Davao Region.

He was arrested during a joint operation of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA 11), Compostela Valley Police Provincial Office Intelligence Branch, and Laak Municiplal Police Station on December 5 at Purok 7, Barangay Banbanon, Laak, Compostela Valley Province.

Duria was arrested after selling one medium transparent plastic sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu weighing more or less five grams P50,000 to an undrercover PDEA Agent who was the the poseur buyer.
