The P800 million-road project is part of the requisites for the 1,500-hectare Davao Oriental Eco-Industrial Park (DOEIP) to take off.

“Relocation Sites are our top priority, that’s why these roads are needed in the first phase,” Ciri said.

The winning contractors are: For the P50 million – two-way, 1 kilometer road project are Asiastrong Construction; A.V Mesiona Construction; Dilao Construction; Werr Corporation; JTA Builders; Urban Consolidated; D’JLH Builders; and J-08

While for the P80M – three-way, 1km road project are R. Semilla Construction; Verzontal Builders; Digos Constrak; Ron Danielle;and Masulot Construction.

The raffle draw was conducted during the project’s contractors and suppliers’ convention at Davao Convention Center last December 13, 2018.

Ciri, the project management group of DOEIP, chose to raffle the projects to get rid of red tape and for a fairer process of selection.

DOEIP is a big ticket project of Pionaire Finance Limited and the Province of Davao Oriental. /
