Water cut in Baliok areas

Davao City Water District (DCWD) yesterday bared that a water interruption is set on March 6, 2019 from

9 a.m. to 4 p.m. affecting some areas in Brgy. Baliok in Toril.

Specific affected areas are Apo Gulf Relocation, Sitio Bagahai, Ramonena Relocation, Puroks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, left portion of Libby Road (from Purok 1 to Nalum Bridge), Velarde Compound, Tabigue Compound, Sitio Nalum, and Villa Kareena Subdivision.

DCWD, in a press statement, said it needs to temporarily shut off water supply in affected areas to give way to the

tapping of the newly-installed pipeline to DCWD's existing pipeline for the mainline improvement at Purok 2 Dallas Relocation in Brgy. Baliok.

Once completed, this project will allow for the accommodation of additional service connections.

DCWD general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asked forthe understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers and advised them to store enough water prior to the schedule. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
