Meanwhile, Agro spikers subdued DDC, 25-13, 25-22 to place third in the volleyfest that serves as qualifying for the Regional Prisaa Meet set on April 12 to 14 in Tagum City.

Agro coach Glen Baluran, in an interview with SunStar Davao, said they just kept their third place last year.

"We are happy to place third. This is our second year in the tournament. It's really our goal to make it to the finals and play UM but they are just too strong a team," Baluran said in the vernacular.
