SEKOLAH INDONESIA IN ARAW
The Indonesian School of Davao took part in celebrating the 82nd Araw ng Davao. The embassy school, along with the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia paraded along the streets, wearing different traditional costumes and proudly waving the red-white flag during the Parada Dabawenyo on Saturday, March 16.
The contingent is composed of home staff and local staff spearheaded by the Charge de Affairs Endah Rachmi Yuliarti together with the teachers and students of the Indonesian School of Davao under the leadership of the principal Drs. Agus, M.Pd.
On the following day, Sunday, March 17 the students performed Tari Lenso (Handkerchief Dance) and O Ina Ni Keke. Tanah Airku Tidak ku Lupakan was being sung during the first Davao City Sister Cities Trade Fair exhibit at SM Lanang Atrium.
The performances originated from North Sulawesi where Bitung and Manado, sister cities of Davao, are located.
