DOST-DAVAO LAUDS BEST INNOVATORS FOR 2019

THE Department of Science and Technology Region in Davao Region (DOST-Davao) awarded 10 of its employees for launching and implementing excellent innovations for calendar year 2019.

The innovations were judged by the regional director and assistant regional directors (ARDs) according to clarity, usability, stability, scalability, stickiness and integration.

Top three innovations from each of the three divisions namely Finance and Administrative Services Division (FASD), Technical Support Services Division (TSSD), and Technical Services Division (TSD), while one from the Office of the Regional Director (ORD) were recognized as ARD’s List. Of the winners, three were hailed for having the Overall Best Innovation (Regional Director’s List).

The winners with their respective innovation are as follows: Overall Best Innovation (RD’s List): 1st Honor - Gladys

Paglinawan (CoS), Innovation: Method development on recovery of gold from concentrates produced in CLINNGEM; 2nd Honor - Donna Rose Ching (Permanent), Conceptualization of a Web-based Database for the Monitoring of the Recommendations Provided through the Consultancy Services; 2nd Honor - Rosana Dayrit (Permanent), DOST 11 Local Travel Claims Helpline.

Best Innovation Per Division (ARD’S List): Technical Services Division: 1st Honor - Donna Rose Ching (Permanent), Conceptualization of a Web-based Database for the Monitoring of the Recommendations Provided through the Consultancy Services; 2nd Honor - Mae Malabong (Permanent), Enhancement of Risk Status Report Format; 2nd Honor - Jowin Coscos (CoS), Resource Pooling and competency building on installation of StarBooks. /
