Service disruptions on May 31 in Ecoland

DAVAO Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct three power interruptions on May 31, Wednesday, affecting customers in Ecoland, Davao City. These power interruptions are necessary to relocate the poles in the following areas: as requested by DPWH.

The first set of power interruptions will be for 30 minutes anytime between 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. to facilitate the transfer of loads from the affected lines to nearby substations while the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up will be for another 30 minutes, anytime between 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Specifically affected are customers along Tulip Drive from Davao Light Ecoland Substation to Home Crest Hotel and neighboring areas.

Additionally, an eight-hour power interruption will be conducted from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. to isolate the work site for the said pole relocation activity.

Specifically affected are customers in Tulip Drive from Home Crest Hotel to Ecoland Drive including SM City Davao, parts of Matina Aplaya Road until Shanghai Village, parts of Ecoland Drive, and neighboring areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
