DAVRAA EAGLES SOAR TO VICTORY

IT WAS a heated battle between the Davao Region Eagles and the Caraga Brave Souls as they fought for victory at the secondary football prelims. In this thrilling match, the Davao Regional Athletic Associatio­n (Davraa) Eagles emerged triumphant, securing a commanding victory with a final score of 3-0. This highly anticipate­d clash marked the sixth game of the football matches at the Pre-National Qualifying Meet, taking place amidst sweltering heat and unparallel­ed intensity.

From the first whistle, it was clear that both teams were on their A-game, displaying their determinat­ion to find the back of the net. However, it was the Eagles who asserted their dominance early on, stunning the Brave Souls with a remarkable goal in the first half. The Davraa Eagles continued to exhibit their flair and power through out the game, netting two more goals that left no doubt about the outcome.

This win definitely boosted the Davraa Eagles’ morale as they approached their next match against SRAA with great anticipati­on. Davao Eagles’ Coach, June Raymon San Felipe, expressed his joy following the game.

“I am very happy. One more win and kami na ang magdula for Palarong Pambansa (“I am very happy. One more win and we will be the ones playing in Palarong Pambansa),” coach San Felipe expressed.

Coach San Felipe further revealed that the Davao Eagles Football Team is fully prepared to secure another victory in tomorrow’s match against SRAA.

“Gihatag nila ilang best karon and nagtuo ko na ihatag sad nila ilang best para ugma.” (They gave their best for today’s game, and I believe that they will also give their best for tomorrow’s match),” he added.

The team’s unwavering desire to succeed and commitment to improving their playing skills have been pivotal in their triumphs, and these qualities will undoubtedl­y continue to shape their journey in future games. /
