CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – “Share a Bear”, the most recent Corporate Social Responsibility event of SM City San Fernando Downtown was held last October 19, 2013 at the Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC) in Lubao town. According to mall manager Lana O. Erroba, this chosen orphanage is a hub for the abandoned, abused, neglected, and browbeaten children aged seven years old and below.

Along with Erroba, volunteer employees distributed SM Bears of Joy, and organized fun games for the RSCC children. KFC, and the SM City San Fernando Downtown Branch also took part in the event by sponsoring packed meals.

On the other hand, SM Supermarket of SMSF Downtown also subsidized giveaways for the kids.

“Sharing anything to others that comes from the heart is a very overwhelming feeling, and could never change the fact that giving is the most awe-inspiring deed that you could do at least as a person,” Erroba said. “This is why SM City San Fernando is constantly doing its Corporate Social Responsibility to its nearby community.”

SM City San Fernando Downtown, Erroba added, will continue its relations with the community and strengthen their advocacy, as gratitude to the public that they all serve.
