TRIPARTITE GROUP FOR HOTELS, RESTOS FORMED

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Department of Labor and Employment Central Luzon Office (DoLE- 3) here recently formed the Hotel and Restaurant Industry Tripartite Council of Tarlac (HR-ITCT).

Regional Director Raymundo Agravante said that the HR-ITCT aims to strengthen harmonious relationsh­ips among the 35 hotel and restaurant members in the province, coming from among others, Max’s Restaurant (Luisita), Pancake House, Matutina’s – Gerry’s Seafood House, Tessie’s Grille and Roasters, Grand Prix Hotel, Ves Food, L Square Hotel, Dampa sa Tarlac Seafoods Restaurant, Hamilton’s Grill and Bar, La Majarica Hotel, Urdu Restaurant, Mr. Blue Hotel, Ken B. Corporatio­n, Nick Hotel, TSU Hotel, Microtel Luisita, Cindy’s Restaurant, Nay’s House, Azaya, KB Restaurant, and Victor’s BBQ.

DoLE Tarlac Senior Labor and Employment Officer Ma. Rosini David provided insights on “Employees’ Discipline and Investigat­ion” as part of the learning session where management representa­tives were given the latest updates, informatio­n, and knowledge on the proper handling of conflicts and giving proper sanctions through thorough investigat­ion, while Labor and Employment Officer Allan Tolentino discussed the concept of “Tripartism,” its functions, and how it will serve as a venue for management, labor and government, in addressing specific issues and concerns faced by the hotel and restaurant industry.

The HR- ITCT will work with other existing councils in the province which include the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council of Tarlac, Tarlac Educationa­l Institutio­n Peace Council), and Tarlac Constructi­on Industry Tripartite Council in pursuing industrial peace, productivi­ty, and economic growth in the province, Agravante said.
