Rotary Club of Mabalacat: Changing Lives

SINCE its inception in 1980, the Medical Surgi cal Program has been the flagship project of the Rotary Club of Mabalacat. To date, the program has benefited more than 7000 indigent children and adults who received free surgery to correct defects like harelip, cleft palate, hernia, hydrocepha­lus, cataract, and goiter.

To promote its humanitari­an concerns, the club reaches out to communitie­s through its radio broadcast program, Rotary Hour, every Friday, 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at GVAM 792.

Recognizin­g its position as role model in the district, the Rotary Club of Mabalacat has kept its roster alive, conducts meetings that start and end in time, hosts memorable district events, shares its rich knowledge of Rotary and projects with other clubs, initiates joint meetings and inductions for the convenienc­e of the district government, and above all, serves its communitie­s in their aspiration for relief, self-help and sustainabl­e growth.

Rotary Club of Mabalacat belongs to Rotary District 3790 Cluster 3B under the stewardshi­p of Assistant Governor Roger Santos.
