Nutrition refers to everything that your child eats and drinks. Proper nutrition is very important to our kids. Proper nutrition means providing the right and required amount of nutrients from food your children eat and is absolutely needed for their normal growth and development. Children have their own unique nutrients needs and meeting those needs is vital for a child to grow up big, strong and healthy. A child’s diet should consist of a variety of foods that contain a range of nutrients. Nutrients include carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. By teaching your child eating healthy foods, you can help prevent your child from having health problems. Some of the health problems associated with poor nutrition can be very serious that is why we need to be careful with what we feed to our children.
Providing your child the right amount of nutrients, you help your child to be active and alert. Be a positive role model to your child because you can make a huge impact on his lifelong relationship with food and give him the best opportunity to be healthy and a confident adult. Avoid eating too much at restaurants and takeout meals because have more added sugar unhealthy fats. It is important also to limit sugar in your child’s diet and be smart about fats and finding healthier junk food alternative. Proper amount of nutrients and calories is very important to our children in order for to function properly. The more active your child is, the more calories he needs. The majority of the children does not get enough vegetables and fruits in their diet that is why parents should be creative and wise in promoting fruits and vegetables to your child’s diet.
Teach your child to drink a lot of water everyday because water helps them to survive with their active days. A glass of milk is very essential also to child’s diet because drinking milk has many benefits for your kids, not only do they give your kids strong and healthy bones but they also aid in your kids’overall good health. Cooking meals at home for you family can have a huge impact on your child’s health. Let you child enjoy child enjoy breakfast everyday to have better memories, energy and good moods. It is very important to have a mealtime with your kids because this is the only way for you to monitor your kids’eating habits. Get your children involved in preparing food so that you could teach and show them the importance of healthy food,
