Nu­tri­tion refers to ev­ery­thing that your child eats and drinks. Proper nu­tri­tion is very im­por­tant to our kids. Giv­ing poor nu­tri­tion to our kids can cause health prob­lems that could af­fect our chil­dren’s per­for­mance at school. Proper nu­tri­tion means pro­vid­ing the right and re­quired amount of nutri­ents from food your chil­dren eat and is ab­so­lutely needed for their nor­mal growth and de­vel­op­ment. Chil­dren have their own unique nutri­ents needs and meet­ing those needs is vi­tal for a child to grow up big, strong and healthy. A child’s diet should con­sist of a va­ri­ety of foods that con­tain a range of nutri­ents. Nutri­ents in­clude car­bo­hy­drates, pro­teins, fats, vi­ta­mins and min­er­als. By teach­ing your child eat­ing healthy foods, you can help pre­vent your child from hav­ing health prob­lems. Some of the health prob­lems as­so­ci­ated with poor nu­tri­tion can be very se­ri­ous that is why we need to be care­ful with what we feed to our chil­dren.

Pro­vid­ing your child the right amount of nutri­ents, you help your child to be ac­tive and alert. Be a pos­i­tive role model to your child be­cause you can make a huge im­pact on his life­long re­la­tion­ship with food and give him the best op­por­tu­nity to be healthy and a con­fi­dent adult. Avoid eat­ing too much at restau­rants and take­out meals be­cause have more added sugar un­healthy fats. It is im­por­tant also to limit sugar in your child’s diet and be smart about fats and find­ing health­ier junk food al­ter­na­tive. Proper amount of nutri­ents and calo­ries is very im­por­tant to our chil­dren in or­der for to func­tion prop­erly. The more ac­tive your child is, the more calo­ries he needs. The ma­jor­ity of the chil­dren does not get enough veg­eta­bles and fruits in their diet that is why par­ents should be cre­ative and wise in pro­mot­ing fruits and veg­eta­bles to your child’s diet.

Teach your child to drink a lot of wa­ter ev­ery­day be­cause wa­ter helps them to sur­vive with their ac­tive days. A glass of milk is very es­sen­tial also to child’s diet be­cause drink­ing milk has many ben­e­fits for your kids, not only do they give your kids strong and healthy bones but they also aid in your kids’over­all good health. Cook­ing meals at home for you fam­ily can have a huge im­pact on your child’s health. Let you child en­joy child en­joy break­fast ev­ery­day to have bet­ter mem­o­ries, en­ergy and good moods. It is very im­por­tant to have a meal­time with your kids be­cause this is the only way for you to mon­i­tor your kids’eat­ing habits. Get your chil­dren in­volved in pre­par­ing food so that you could teach and show them the im­por­tance of healthy food,
