PCSO increases assistance fund for Central Luzon
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO ) has increased the allocation of the Individual Medical Assistance Program (IMAP) for its branches in Pampanga, Tarlac, Zambales and Bulacan.
This was announced by PCSO Chairperson Jose Jorge E. Corpuz during the distribution of new ambulance units for Pampanga.
Corpuz said the move is aimed at improving the assitance for the various IMAP of the said areas. Pampanga’s allocation has been increased from P300, 000 daily allocation to P800,000.
The PCSO had also increased its allocation for its Zambales branch from P100,000 daily to P200, 000. Bulacan also had a big increase of P600, 000 from its previous P250,000 daily allocation. Tarlac’s allocation was also increased from P150,000 daily allocation to P450,000.
Corpuz said that the increase would enable the branches to help more people availing of the IMAP.
He added that more daily allocation would mean more people getting needed financial assitance from PCSO.
He added that the PCSO hopes for better delivery of services with the increase in allocation.
