Capitol awards 19 model farmers, fisherfolk
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The provincial government recognized 19 outstanding model farmers and fisherfolk who excelled in their fields of profession and as fulfilled parents whose children are now professionals enjoying the fruit of their labor.
The model farmers and fisherfolk were given P20,000 each and plaque of appreciation by Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, during the opening ceremonies of the 445th Aldo Ning Kapampangan at Capitol grounds, this city.
The awardees were able to pass the criteria such as 65 years of age and above; should be continuously working as a farmer and fisherman; utilizing modern technology in his craft; children were able to finish their studies; and submitted all his requirements regarding the contest on time last November on 15, 2016.
The model farmers and fisherfolk are Fernando R. Tuazon from Mabalacat City;
