Sun.Star Pampanga - - PERSPECTIVE! -

hat does Leadership means? People commonly think that Leaders should always be on top of a pyramid. Must be superior, executive and very knowledgeable who should not commit errors when planning. Extremely smart and confident.

However, this must be corrected. Because a leader should not just only consider to be on top of a triangle; hence should know how to step down and look every angle correctly. Checking each size of the angle equally including the quality is a sign of being a good leader. Because a Leader has a brilliant heart towards their subordinates. Caring for their benefits, loving and knowing their differences as individual, could help them motivate fulfill their duties significantly. Same as being the President of a country. A Head of State and head of the national executive who promotes the unity of the nation which will advance the Republic. A Leader of a Nation does not select people to serve with; instead he/ she distribute job obligations to each designated officials in order to divide work equally and produce output perfectly for our country.

This obligation is almost similar to a dedicated Leader of an Institution, who put passion in work as we tend to prioritize the need of our students, teachers and school. Efficient Leader care for future, mind and behavior. Help their subordinates do the right things. They set direction, build an inspiring vision, and create something new. A leader will then ensure that team members have the necessary skills and abilities to do their job and achieve the vision. They do this by giving and receiving feedback regularly, and by training and coaching people to improve individual and team performance.

Yes, I am a modern Leader, because I defend for my school, teachers and students. I do not just simply instruct my teachers in holding chalks when teaching but use technology for our digital learners. Thus, all teachers must be reminded that before sleeping at night, make sure to have a usual habit in preparing modern teaching materials. Because we are currently leaving in a modern way that students are now experiencing. --oOo— The author is SST II at Camachiles National High School, Division of Mabalacat City --oOo— The author is Master Teacher I at San Vicente-San Francisco High School Macabebe, Pampanga
