- The Christmas spirit is really in the air as the local government here yesterday distributed cash grants to indigent persons with disabilities ( PWDs) .

Some 50 PWDs from different barangays in this town received P2,000 financial assistance each from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office as part of the Christmas party program.

The awarding was led by Mayor Peter Nucom who reminded PWDs and their parents that the holiday season must celebrated with love and peace together with their families.

He noted that the cash grant is only a small amount but will help in the medical needs and other necessities of the PWD beneficiaries.

The PWDs, meanwhile, extended their gratitude to the local government for the continuous support and assistance given to them.
