Domingo cited instances where elected officials from certain barangays include their political contender in the drug watchlist to stain their track record.

“This campaign is serious and very sensitive and we are exhausting all efforts, the PNP and the government for this. We are appealing to our elected officials to separate politics from public service,” she st r essed .

She added the PNP is verifying every report that is submitted to their respective stations and putting names of innocent people on the watchlist for anyone’s gain will not be tolerated.

However, Domingo reiterated that their program does not exempt anybody, including businessmen, elected officials such as governors and congressmen and even their fellow uniformed personnel of any rank.

If proven that they are using or selling illegal drugs or are protecting suspects, Domingo said that they will be doing their mandate to implement the law and safeguard Filipinos.
