CSC grants Seal of Excellence Award to frontline service offices in CL
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— The Civil Service Commission (CSC) recently conferred Citizen’s Satisfaction Center Seal of Excellence Award to two frontline service offices in the region.
This year’s recipients of the CSC Seal of Excellence Award were the Government Service Insurance System Iba Extension Office with three stars and Social Security System (SSS) Mariveles with five stars, the highest rating given.
Both offices received a glass seal of excellence and cash prize during the Honor Awards Program.
“Earning the seal is not the end but just the beginning of your journey. The sustainability or the consistency of your excellent public service is what you need to work on sustaining,” CSC Commissioner Robert Martinez stressed.
In behalf of SSS Mariveles, Jordan Herrera received the glass seal and P100,000.
“While we take pride to receiving this award, we are at the same time humbled by the fact that we are confronted with another challenge, to live up the expectation of the seal,” Herrera noted.
Meanwhile, Martinez urged the awardees to continue on providing the kind of public service that is able to anticipate and rapidly respond to changing customer demands.
“You have raised the bar. What is excellent today will just be ordinary tomorrow, so you just have to keep on improving and innovating on how you will deliver excellent public service to your stakeholders,” he added.
The CSC Seal of Excellence is awarded to offices with excellent performance in providing service to the public and its adherence to the requirements prescribed by Republic Act 9485 or Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007. (CLJD/ TJBM PIA-3)
