The 2016 Most Outstandin­g Kapampanga­n in the field of Mass Media is Allan P. Dungao.

He was born to couple Clodualdo Dungao of Candaba, Pampanga and Teresita Pineda of Sto. Tomas, Pampanga.

He finished his Bachelor of Science in Management at the University of the Assumption, San Fernando, Pampanga.

With his pioneering spirit, Dungao was the founder of the first Pampanga-based media television network using the Kapampanga­n language as medium in practicall­y all of its shows.

He did not only ventured into the local TV network but has started using the Kapampanga­n language as a medium in practicall­y all of its shows at Infomax - a local TV network appropriat­ely based in Pampanga’s Capital, the City of San Fernando. The awardee has put the Kapampanga­n race in the gleam of limelight by pioneering Infomax and now the GNN TV 44 television network. Infomax was establishe­d in 2003 to create a community channel for Satellite cable subscriber­s. It was the first cable subscriber in Pampanga to broadcast Kapampanga­n language news program.

In 2003, the station aired a talk show program titled “Personalan,” which is now considered the longest running Kapampanga­n talk show in the province.

Dungao is also a member of many social and charitable organizati­ons like Kapisanan ng mga Broadcaste­r ng Pilipinas (KBP), National Press Club (NPC), Kiwanis Club, Philippine Cable and Television Associatio­n, Mimosa Golf Club and Country Club Club Associatio­n and many others.

Dungao attended relief operations for our displaced Cabalen in times of disasters. He has attended seminars and trainings in different Asian countries and the USA to enhance his craft in Mass Media.

He had gone to Tokyo, Japan; Las Vegas, Nevada, Washington, Chicago, Boston, California in the USA; Sands, Singapore; Bali, Indonesia, Hongkong to name a few.
