This coming year majority of us are making a firm decision to do or not to do something or popularly known as New Year’s Resolutions. The biggest benefit of making a New Year’s Resolution is that it can motivate you into taking action; however the best resolution that we can do is to accept the true message of this season the big JC Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and lean on His promises.

As elaborated by a man of God (Ptr. Manny 2016) when he delivered the message of God here are some of God’s promises that will surely lead us to live a happy and content life.

1. God is with us: Matthew 1:23 (NIV); The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means “God with us”)

Isaiah 9:6 (NIV ; For to us a Child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

2. God will not leave us nor forsake us: Hebrews 13:5b; because God has said, “Never will I forsake you.”

Joshua 1:5 (NIV); No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

I leave you; never will

3. Jesus is the way of the righteous John 14:5-6(NIV) ; v5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” v6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.

Romans 8:35, 38-39 (NIV); v35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? v38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, v39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

4. God is with you all the way: Isaiah 43:2(NIV); When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you abl aze.

Psalm 91:11(NIV); For he will command his angels concerning you to guard in all your ways. Now that you know that God is with you, “BE STRONG”! Hebrews13:5-6(NIV); v5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” v6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
