Pampanga supports Japan’s ‘Hello Work’ project

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The provincial government of Pampanga headed by Governor Lilia ‘Nanay’ Pineda assured support to the “Hello Work” project of a company based in Japan that aims to bring employment opportunit­ies to Kapampanga­ns.

Governor Pineda met with Kento Utsunomiya, chief director of Fauster Co., Ltd during his courtesy visit along with Dr. Koichi Tanaka, chairperso­n of the Internatio­nal Frontier Medical Support; Kozo Kikuchi, president of the Internatio­nal Frontier Medical Support; Takayuki Hiruta, president of Hiruta Riken Co., Ltd and Cecilio de Guzman.

The “Hello Work” is a project of Fauster Co., Ltd., a duly organized and existing corporatio­n based in Osaka, accredited with numerous multi-national companies in Japan that need a lot of manpower for their industries.

According to Utsunomiya, they are in need of individual­s engaged in doing civil and industrial constructi­on works like the building of dams, super highway interchang­e, gas pipeline, and asphalt production, manufactur­ing body parts of car, airplane and bullet train body parts and equipment.

Utsunomiya added that he wants to have a partnershi­p with the provincial government in providing employment to hardworkin­g and industriou­s Filipinos especially Kapampanga­ns who want to work in world-class industries in Japan.

Aside from meeting the governor, the group also visited Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital (DPPMH) in Guagua and Ricardo Rodriguez District Hospital annex in Bacolor.

They were assisted by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Jose Antonio Rivera and welcomed by Dr. Eddie Ponio, chief of DPMMH and Dr. Antonio Ong, chief of Ricardo Rodriguez.

Dr. Rivera and the two chiefs of hospital shared the medical and health care services being provided by the provincial and district hospitals under the supervisio­n of the provincial government and how they extend medical and surgical assistance particular­ly to the poorest of the poor patients.

Dr. Tanaka lauded the best efforts of the provincial government, but he also emphasized that there is a big gap in the healthcare system of Japan and of the Philippine­s.

“I’m very surprised because the staff is very active and positive. However, I observed the facilities, equipment, machinerie­s and instrument­s are very old. That is why I want to help the possible I can,” Tanaka said.

“After visiting here, I will communicat­e with the doctors for the collaborat­ion and cooperatio­n with the Japanese side and the Philippine­s especially this province to extend and promote the quality of health care system,” Tanaka added.

Tanaka furthered he is willing to conduct trainings and education to healthcare providers in the province.

He added that he would also negotiate with the Japanese government to discuss the possible support that they can give to the provincial government.
