Fans are now anticipating the reveal of the new Valentina, the Pinay superhero's arch-nemesis.

With Erik Matti helming the upcoming film adaptation of the Mars Ravelo comic, Kapamilya stars Anne Curtis and Sarah Lahbati have been rumored to play the half-serpent half-human supervillain.

Both actresses are set to appear in Erik Matti films; Sarah plays opposite Shy Carlos in the upcoming horror thriller Ang Pagsanib kay Leah Dela Cruz, while Anne takes on her first action thriller in Buy Bust.

Anne debunked the Valentina rumors in a recent interview saying, "As far as I know, hindi."

Regardless, Darna fans had been rallying for the It's Showtime host to take on the part.

Is Liza open to work opposite Anne or Sarah in Darna and the 19-year-old actress said, " Oh! I love Ate Anne! I would love to work with Ate Anne!"

But she quickly pointed out that she has no clue as to who are co-stars in the film, "Yeah, but of course, it all depends on who they want to portray as Valentina. I actually don't have any idea on who will be with me in the movie, so far. I can't think of anyone actually at the top of my mind to play Valentina, because wala e. I don't know who could possibly do it. I don't know talaga."

He has done Liham at Lihim, MKNM: Mga Kwento Ng Makata, Biyahe ng Pangarap, and a documentary DVD with them.

His first single on his new album Rotonda, titled "Ice Tubig," is his simple way of making a dream come true. "Yung first single, sobra kasi akong fan ni Mike Luis." "Tapos first time napanood ko siya sa Limits, di ko alam if alam niyo pa yun. Sobrang galing, sinabi ko sa kanya, your music back then was so ahead of your time."

He says that his new 5-track album Rotonda is coming out at the right time under Universal Records Philippines.

"Nagkausap kami, mayroon kaming napagkasunduan na project na gawin in time, so excited ako, sobrang excited."

He leaves his former label with no hard feelings. He discloses, "Star Records was a one-project deal."

He adds, "I am very, very thankful sa kanila sa pag payag na gawin ko yun sa kanila, bihira lang ang label na pumapayag ng ganoon."

On doing "Ice Tubig" with Mike Luis, Gloc-9 admits, "Matagal ko na gusto gumawa ng song with him."

For those unfamiliar with Ice Tubig, it's borrowed from ice tubig: “When you're playing with your friends, and you are really thirsty but don't have money for softdrinks, only for ice tubig, which is, piso lang yun," Gloc-9 says with a smile.

He admits that "Ice Tubig" is one of his lighter songs, "this one is about a girl na ang kanyang pagmamahal ay parang ice tubig. Malamig!"

He says that when he had Mike sing, "tuwang tuwa ako, sobrang galing."

His new single "Ice Tubig" also sounds like a dance track and this kind of song is something, "na matagal na ako hindi gumagawa ng ganoong song."

By focusing on a woman's cold love, Gloc-9 explains, "it was the character of the woman, this intrigued me, bakit may ganitong klaseng babae."

The name of Rotonda, "matagal na idea, in connection to my 20th, I think nadaanan ko na yun mga before, mas alam ko na daan ko, kung ano maganda for me."

"Rotonda" is also an interesting track on the new album, he says because, "Nag-uusap kami ng kaibigan ko, tungkol sa reincarnation, yung what if niya, nasira talaga ulo ko. Paano daw kung nareincarnate ka at hindi pa tapos previous life mo. Tapos existing yung previous life mo?"
