Soto vows to continue Quota legacy, strengthen membership
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— Newly minted Quota International of Pampanga president Zelinda Barrios-Sotto vowed to continue their organization’s legacy of service to Kapampangans as well as strengthen and diversify the group’s programs and membership.
Soto, who has been a former president of the club and a regional officer too, will bring in her wealth of experience in the leading the club for the next months. Soto said that she will be renewing ties with partner organizations as the club will continue its active participation in social service programs and other charitable events in Pampanga.
Quota International of Pampanga is active in programs for disadvantaged children, bringing donations for the SPED class, among others. Quotarians are known especially for their service to the deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired individuals and poor women and children. Quota members share the values of serving and encouraging others, developing friendships, and promoting international understanding.
Soto said that the club will not sit on its achievements and will continue to distinguish itself in the family of Quota Clubs to which it belongs.
Soto said that she is thankful for the support of members and officers of the club in her new term. She added that she hopes to achieve more under her term to inspire more women in Pampanga to join the group.
