Assumption­ist to join 12th Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit

The three-day summit will provides delegates with basic leadership and management strategies and how they concretize­d in the world of business, corporate life, responsibi­lity and nation building, guided by Aboitiz executive leaders from different business industries here to shape and inspire delegates for the future of the country.

This year, 150 student leaders who were carefully screened and chosen from universiti­es nationwide qualified for the rigorous AFLBS selection process. The list was released on AFLBS's Facebook page Tuesday evening, August 1.

Martinez, a 5th year engineerin­g student, varsity member of UA table tennis and past president of the UA College Student Council for the School year 20162017, was chosen from the thousands of applicants, participan­ts including working scholars, varsity athletes, honor students and organizati­on leaders.

The AFLBS is an annual event that brings together some of the best students from around the country. Now on its 12th year of building young talented leaders, the AFLBS continues to prepare and empower the youth to be changemake­rs in their chosen field of profession and in soci et y.

The summit aims to bring out the best from the student delegates, to inspire them to develop a renewed hope in the country, and encourage them to strive for excellence in all things.
