Suspected pusher killed Angeles police operation
ANGELES CITY — A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation conducted by the city police last Wednesday.
The Angeles City Police Drug Enforcement Unit (ACPDEU) identified the suspect Noel Carbungco, 51, a resident of R.D Reyes Street, Barangay Santa Trinidad, Angeles City.
The DEU, under the leadership of Inspector Gerald Quiambao conducted the anti-drug operation at 10pm at a Muslim Compound in Purok 6, Barangay Pampang, Angeles City which led to the suspect’s arrest.
After the drug deal was consummated, the suspect reportedly sensed that it was a set and immediately drew a Caliber .38 revolver from his black sling bag and fired towards the policeman who acted as poseur buyer.
The officer fired back which resulted in the suspect’s instantaneous death, according to Quiambao. Confiscated from suspect’s possession and control were four sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine hydrochloride. The police also recovered Carbungco’s gun and marked money amounting to P500.
