CSF police nets 8 drug suspects
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - In the continuous fight against illegal drugs, local authorities of this capital city arrested eight suspected drug personalities in the week-long series of operations it launched.
Superintendent Roland Agohob, this city’s chief of police, said Romyvie Briguel aka Manok/ Marvin was arrested Tuesday in Barangay San Jose here. Briguel is categorized as Central Luzon’s second top ranked target drug personality by the Police Regional Office III, and City of San Fernando’s top nine target drug personality and most wanted motorcycle riding suspect.
Two female drug personalities were likewise arrested by the city police on the same day in a buy-bust operation conducted in Miranda Compound in Barangay Maimpis. Agohob identified them as Niña Vega and Marinel Timbang, both jobless.
Meanwhile, two personalities identified as Jerome Viscayno aka “Belong”and Argel Macapagal were arrested on January 3 in Miranda Compound Barangay Quebiawan.
Two more suspected illegal drug users were nabbed in Barangay Sta. Lucia in this city on January 4 identified as Johnson Regala and Guiller Manabat,
while one Michael Palo aka “Mike” was likewise arrested in Barangay Sindalan.
A combined 64 sachets containing suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu were confiscated from the suspects’possession, Agohob said.
He added that all suspects are facing charges for violation of RA 9165, while Briguel is facing multiple illegal drugs and robbery charges.
