UA to offer three new programs

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— The University of the Assumption (UA) will be offering three new collegiate programs starting school year 2018-2019.

The programs, which include Bachelor in Human Services, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, and Bachelor of Library and Information Science, will be offered to welcome the first batch of Senior High School graduates.

Bachelor of Human Services, a four year program which leads to various professions which include helping people, will be included in the roster of programs under the School of Arts and Sciences.

Meanwhile, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, which is one of the most in demand programs for college students, will be offered by the College of Nur si ng.

For future librarians, archivists and bibliographers, Bachelor of Library and Information Science will be a suitable program, and it will be offered under the College of Computing Sciences and Information Technology.

The Commission of Higher Education has granted the university the permit to operate the said programs after massive preparations done by its administration and the colleges concerned.
