Have you ever seen Korina Sanchez’s new look?
Over the weekend, the veteran newscaster made headlines on social media when she was presented as the newest endorser of Belo Beauty. Korina sported a new look which made her nearly unrecognizable to netizens.
The seasoned journalist bared her toned shoulders, flaunted glowing bronzed skin, and showed her own version of the famed “smize” as she leaned her elbow on an old television set.

John Lloyd Cruz is definitely enjoying his “indefinite leave’ from his work assignments with girlfriend Ellen Adarna. In their own Instagram stories last night, January 16, the couple showed a glimpse of their cozy date night at home.
(Instagram stories are automatically deleted after 24 hours. In this case, netizens have reposted John Lloyd and Ellen’s videos in fan accounts.) Ellen posted videos of John Lloyd grilling vegetables, fish, and bacon at a lanai which has a tent decorated by Christmas lights. She wrote, “Dinner date set up at home by my [love] because I don’t want to go out”
While they did not indicate if they are at John Lloyd’s or Ellen’s apartment, the 34year-old actor took note of how one of his “baby” plants on the lanai is now in full bloom. Showing a video of his exotic plant, John Lloyd wrote, “my baby’s growing [monkey emoji]”
Then he posted a separate video of his and Ellen’s “dinner date,” together with some of their household staff. Ellen was comfortably seated with her legs crossed and a throw pillow on her lap while talking to her “yayey.”
In another video posted by Ellen, the couple seemed to be enjoying listening to the “words of wisdom” from the yaya of the 29-year-old sexy star.
Ellen’s yaya was saying, “Ang asawa, puwedeng palitan. Pero ang anak, hindi mo talaga ipagpapalit kahit kaninong lalaki, kasi anak mo ‘yan, e. Lalo na yung nanay mo.”
The sexy star interjected, “Ang asawa?”
Her yaya reiterated, “Ang asawa puwedeng palitan. Pero ang nanay at anak, hindi mo ipagpapalit kahit kanino.”
In November 2017, news came out that Ellen is pregnant. Since then, there have been reports of John Lloyd proposing to Ellen with a three-million-peso diamond ring. This was followed by veteran columnist/talent manager Lolit Solis’s Instagram post saying that the couple have started making wedding preparations.
Both John Lloyd and Ellen took offense with Lolit and showed their displeasure by raking up a past scandal involving the talent manager. It is not certain if the couple were angered because, in fact, there are no wedding preparations and they feel that the report puts undue pressure on them to get married. Or because, indeed, there are wedding preparations but they feel that no one has any business announcing any of it except the two of them. never looked this good.”

There were those who insisted it was just a good (or bad) case of photoshop, but it seemed that this was the real deal. With nearly every netizen doing a double-take on Korina’s new look, many agreed that Korina could pass off as the doppelganger of celebrity stylist, Liz Uy. Can you tell one from the other?
Others thought Korina now looks a bit like Jodi Sta. Maria... Karel Marquez, maybe...or RB Chanco, the celebrity make-up artist. And believe it or not, netizens saw a bit of the international singer, Mariah Carey, in Korina.
