‘LUX IN TENEBRIS’

-

JASMIN D. LEGASPI

A world without education is a world of chaos. No one knows what’s right or wrong. You don’t know if you failed or succeed.

It’s like a stairs without something to step on.

If you wanted success, education is a stepping stone. You know you can think better if you learn something. All of the staff teachers were giving us, it’ll be useful someday. We’re send to school by our parents because they wanted us to grow, to be molded, to be a better version of ourselves. Most of the students nowadays can’t see the importance of learning. For them this is just a normal routine. That they can’t use polygons to feed themselves, that they can’t use history to buy foods in the grocery, that knowing the composition of universe can’t give them a house. “They’re being rational, but uneducated.” That is the big difference. The projects, research papers, thesis, performance output, they’re all there all there to test the knowledge we have. All of these sufferings will be paid off. You will see the importance of education by its result, depending on how you caress the situations in your arms, on how you understand what it is.

Education is like a light in the darkness this world gives. You can see your way to your way to your goal, you just have to keep the fire burning.
