KEY TO UNLOCK THE GOLDEN DOOR
JASMIN D. LEGASPI
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.— Martin Luther
Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits.
This is commonly divided formally into such stages as preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and then college, university, or apprenticeship.
A right to education has been recognized by the governments and should be applied to all. In most regions, education is compulsory up to a certain age. Education began in prehistory, as adults trained the young in the knowledge and skills deemed necessary in their society.
Throughout the centuries there were men who took their first steps, down their roads, armed with nothing but their own vision.
Many said that education is really hard to achieve. Yet it is, but after all the hardships that you went through, in the end it is all worth it. Education wouldn’t teach us something that will lead us to our own destruction. Always remember the key word: KEEP EDUCATING YOURSELF. It always has room for improvement.
