NREA-HUDCC to host convention, exhibits set in San Fernando

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— The National Real Estate Associatio­n, Inc. and the Housing and Urban Developmen­t Council is set to host the 23rd NREAHUDCCN­ational Convention and Trade Exhibits this coming May 10 to 11 at the Kingsborou­gh Internatio­nal Convention Center in this city.

Anchored on this year’s theme “Building Sustainabl­e and Resilient Communitie­s for Better Lives,” the event aims to gather thousands of participan­ts for a two-day symposium that will discuss essential and significan­t matters concerning the real estate and housing industry.

During a press conference held recently, NREA Executive Vice President Ricky Celis noted that the convention is divided into four parts. He shared that industry experts and top officials of the national shelter agencies will be present to provide updates and important developmen­ts in the country’s property sect or.

“The first day of the event will focus on topics like how the regulatory system of the government right now can fuel the industry. Keynote speakers will also shed light on their insights on the industry’s adjustment in light of the Train Law. In addition, panels will also share new approaches and best practices in real estate management, as well as new concepts on in-city developmen­t,” he said.

“The second day, meanwhile, will tackle the real estate environmen­t in general and how changing the way we develop can ensure and prepare us for a more resilient and sustainabl­e future,” he added.

Aside from informativ­e updates, networking opportunit­ies, and open forums which aim to address current issues, participan­ts will also get seventeen (17) CPD credit units during their two-day attendance.

NREA Pampanga President Engr. Joliber Mapiles relayed that the one-stop trade organizati­on is all set for the upcoming convention.

“We’re very much prepared for the 23rd NREAHUDCC National Convention and Trade Exhibits. In fact, we already invited key government officials including Former President Gloria

Macapagal-Arroyo and Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, as well as our partners from the private sectors to join us for this event envisioned to become our biggest convention in terms of number of participan­ts,” he said.

The NREA is a national associatio­n whose members belong to major real estate economic contributo­rs and participan­ts; government agencies that regulate, licenses, and oversee the industry; and the group of legislator­s who are supportive of the urban and housing developmen­ts.

To date, it continues to provide a better, functional, and effective service to its buyers, beneficiar­ies, and the country in general. It also continues a uphold its mission to address numerous and multi-farious facets of the industry consistent with the present and future goals of society and government through regular programs and convention­s like the 23rd NREA-HUDCC National Convention and Trade Exhibits.
