Lady board member reaches out to seniors

PORAC — Senior citizens of this town have been receiving house visits from Ex-Officio Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon as the latter is looking into the needs of those bedridden and giving them much needed assistance from the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

David-Dizon said that she has been visiting seniors and giving them food, financial and medical assistance through the support of Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice-Governor Dennis Pineda. She said that the move aims to bring much needed support to seniors in various communities.

She added that the financial assistance is a great help to the families of the seniors especially for their medical expenses. Aside from the financial assistance, David-Dizon has also been facilitating the release of aid equipment to seniors like canes and wheelchairs.

David-Dizon said the community should also extend various social support and even emotional cushion for seniors who struggle with their senior problems and health issues. She also called for stakeholders to help in providing more social support programs for senior citizens at different levels to help them enjoy the remainder of their lives.
