Pelco I: No brownout on May 14

MEXICO, Pampanga – The Pampanga I Electric Cooperativ­e Inc. (Pelco I) gave assurance to its consumers that there will be no brownout in its coverage areas on May 14, 2018 during the synchroniz­ed barangay and Sanggunian­g Kabataan (SK) el ect i on s.

In an interview, Pelco I General Manager Engr. Loliano Allas said that as far as the electric cooperativ­e is concerned, it has no scheduled electric power interrupti­on and that they are ready for any eventualit­y before, during and after the upcoming polls.

He added however that there are instances when power interrupti­ons are beyond the electric cooperativ­e’s control considerin­g the fact that it is now at the peak of the dry season and the demand for electric power is continuous­ly increasing.

Meanwhile, Allas assured further that Pelco I’s management and maintenanc­e personnel are on red alert status this summer to assure the electric cooperativ­e’s operationa­l readiness in case of any technical eventualit­y.

Pelco I caters to power consumers in the towns of Arayat, Candaba, Magalang, Mexico, Sta. Ana and San Luis in the province of Pampanga.
