HAU launches PSM in Cybersecurity
The Holy Angel University has launched the Professional Science Master's (PSM) in Cybersecurity, a hybrid program that provides IT professionals with specialized knowledge in cybersecurity and related skill sets to meet the demands and challenges of economic and infrastructure security in a high-technology society.
The first and only in the Philippines, the program is a unique curriculum in the area of science, technology, engineering, agriculture, and mathematics (STEAM) designed to prepare students for a variety of career options in the industry. It emphasizes both fundamental knowledge in current cybersecurity practices and management/leadership abilities.
The following are the qualifications of the applicants to qualify for the admission to the PSM in Cybersecurity: The applicant must have earned a bachelor’s degree in any computing or allied field; at least one year of work experience; attendance to an orientation covering the rationale of the program, objectives, admission requirements, qualification for the the applicants, and the basic policies of the program conducted by the dean/program coordinator.
Applicants are not required to take/pass an admission test. In lieu of the exam, an interview with the dean/program coordinator will determine the readiness of the applicant.
