21ST CENTURY TEACHING
ANNARIZA YUMUL MANLAPAZ
Our world is changing, and in order to prepare our children for this new world we need to change the way we educate our pupils. They are the next Jose Rizal who will contribute to become the catalyst of change. 21st century teaching it is. Our pupils need to develop these skills: collaborative skills, critical thinking skills, written communication skill, and ability to use technology to cope up with trends they belong where the teacher need to cultivate and maintain pupil’s interest in the material by showing this knowledge applies in a real world. K to 12 curriculum tend to shift the role of the teacher from being a lecturer to becoming the facilitator of learning.
