LEANING TOWARDS LEARNING
ANNABELLE P. DAVID
Nowadays, young people show negative attitude toward studying in school, participating in class discussions, and reviewing notes for examinations. They quickly feel stressed whenever they do school activities and even think they want to stop attending classes. They think it is not required to study and only those who want to do so should enroll in schools. However, education is not just a ‘want’, but a ‘need’.
Education is everyone’s right and it is needed, as well. It is not true that only those who want to engage in studying should enroll in schools. The information and practical knowledge obtainable from studying are some of the things that can be kept and lived up to, as people continue with the journey of life. Learning from experience is also a very good way to discover the ways of life and the things around. Different situations may be encountered where practicalities could be applied. Different problems may hinder the way but learned principles and effective solutions could ease out and even get rid of these difficulties.
The wisdom one has is the key to every obstacle’s door, even if it does not look like it can be the one. This wisdom shapes itself and the person who has it to be as appropriate as it can be to open the paths to success and beat the hurdles that get in the way. That is how the wisdom we get from learning works.
