Capitol gives P2-M to Grade 12, HS students in CSF, Mabalacat

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO - The provincial government distribute­d educationa­l financial assistance amounting to P2,122,000, benefittin­g 849 Grade 12 and high school students here recently.

Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office head Angelina Blanco led the awarding here and in Mabalacat City, to 17 students in Maimpis High School, seven in Sta. Lucia Integrated School, 29 in Calulut Integrated School, nine in Panipuan High School, and 78 in Dolores Senior High School; 300 students from Sapang Biabas Resettleme­nt in Mabalacat, 133 in Mabalacat National High School, 42 in Mabalacat Technologi­cal Vocational School, 180 in Madapdap Resettleme­nt High School and 54 in Santos Ventura High School.

The students received P2,500 each.

Blanco relayed the message of Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda to the students: “Always remember that the provincial government is all out to support you, especially in your education. But you have to study harder and stay away from drugs.”

According to the Senior High School completers, the money they received will be a great help to them when they enroll in college. It could help in buying the things they need like notebooks, ball pens, uniforms and other materials which they will use in time for the opening of classes in June.
