PARENTS’ VITAL ROLE IN KIDS’ PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Department of Education (DepEd) has acknowledged the vital role of parents and guardians in bringing the best out of all Filipino learners.

Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones highlighted that parents and guardians are always there to guide, encourage, and cheer the learners in achieving their dr eams.

Thus, they play a crucial role in their personal development which form part of their whole knowledge acquisition process. They also work very hard in encouraging and sharing the dreams and ambitions of their children.

Briones also remind students to always appreciate and remember Philippine culture as they go out into the real world; that wherever they may go, they will not forget our history, culture, and country. While the country is controversial, it is also challenging, beautiful, and promising.

Moreover, Briones mentioned that with the various efforts of the government, learners have more opportunities to take, whether in higher education, business, or in the world of work.

The DepEd and the government are widening learners’choices; there is no limit to what students can do, as they can create a better, more happier, and hopeful country and the world.
