THE JOURNEY OF EDUCATORS

-

ERNESTO N. YAP JR.

The significant tons of challenges, unending reports, family and personal crises, physical health, disruptive learners, and role conflicts are some difficulties in educators’life journey. Being an educator encompasses a huge yet fulfilling task in the lives of many. Setting aside your personal needs to attend to your learners is a manifestation of real love and passion. In addition, educators speak to the importance of values, influences, context and relationship. Modeling does not undervalue the roles in the field of teaching. It actually moves away from community-based ideals and perspectives.

Given the different challenges, problems, and obstacles of the educators, a well-noted purpose of their teaching is to create a positive acculturation in preparing each learner to be strong, determined, disciplined and fit for a lifetime. Bringing learners to the top of their abilities and potentials is more than worth effort expended. At times, it may cost anxiety, tears, sleepless nights to see and check the development of their learners, but educators who have showed love will be blessed and honored.

It takes time to educate a learner, however, investing energies and priorities should be considered. Understanding the learning gap between urgency and importance really matter and make sense. There is nothing fulfilling in the life of educators but seeing their learners mature and start to return the investment they put into them. The greatest reward which they will discover is revealed through the qualities they worked hard to cultivate.
