VIRTUAL EDUCATION

-

The historic uprising of the advancement of technology these years have been an eye opening. Today, it is very much part of our lives. Seeing people blindly traversing through everyday life with “smarter-than-us mobile phones” is pretty much a commodity in this day and age. Smartphone, tablet, Ipod and all other forms of technology are apparently overwhelming to most of us. Some declare that it could be distracting. But with proper usage and guidance, technology is definitely proving to be an enormous benefit for us all.

One of main focuses now is integrating technology into the heart of education system. Schools all around the world are adopting to this potential new teaching instrument. For example, projectors are widely used in the classroom from Power Point presentation to viewing educational videos. Students now used their smartphones and tablets to photograph lectures and use them for quick access information regarding subject topic. Indeed, majority of the students surf the web for their research rather than going to the library. Those are just some of the plentiful reasons why schools are accepting the use of technology more enthusiastically. But with all the benefits we can think of, like all things every upside has a downside.

The idea of advanced technological education in the near future is swiftly arriving at our doorsteps. Brick by brick, we are building the infrastructure of the future. Whatever you accept it or not, it will happen. From stone to steel, the human race will evolve; this is one of the legacies we leave for the next generation. Because education is the foundation of all that is around us. To forge the path of knowledge, we shall make the “Great Unknown” known, innovate beyond our wildest imaginations… but first, we must focus on focusing technology in our education system.
