Boking to Reclaim City Hall
Since he was ousted as city mayor, Marino “Boking” has never stopped from working for his comeback to city hall.
The latest report was Boking helped his allies get elected to barangay and SK positions, using his old and dependable machinery to win as many elective positions as possible.
Morales is confident he will clobber Mayor Chris Garbo in the next elections. The Boking does not mind if the Pineda-backed Garbo regime has succeeded in winning the minds and hearts of Balacat people. The camp of the longest serving mayor is not afraid of Garbo’s backers of whom Boking emerged victorious in their political disp u t es.
To serve notice of his influence and residual power, Morales had himself declared the official “Father of Mabalacat cityhood in a City Council collaborative support to his next move.
The Balacats are wondering how and why Morales got the political boosting honorific from the City Council whose members are declared friends and supporters of Garbo and Gov. Pineda.
It is very rare and unusual that a certain politician is proclaimed “Father of a City(hood), not even in Angeles and San Fernando. Boking has proven that he can work for his personal cause right under Garbo’s nose.
The City Council Resolution is a virtual endorsement of Morales’ campaign to reclaim city hall. The act of declaring fatherhood to a cause is within the realm of future history, not in the service of a political campai gn .
