Funnside Ningnangan opens 10th branch in Guagua
Funnside Ningnangan, Pampanga’s leading homegrown family restaurant and grill house, over the weekend opened its 10th branch and first franchise store in Guagua.
Owned by renowned Kapampangan PBA player and entrepreneur Jayson Castro, the new branch, with a total lot area of 3,000 square meters, can accommodate up to 800 diners. It is among the restaurant chain’s biggest branch, next to San Fernando, Sta. Maria, Guiguinto, Caloocan, Pulilan, Apalit, Angeles, San Matias, and Mexico.
During its grand opening, Castro shared that he feels very overwhelmed with the community’s warm welcome and support to his new venture.
“I’m really very happy as I’ve seen our kabalens’ excitement when we formally opened our branch here today. Together with the whole Funnside Ningnangan Guagua team, we, too, are also excited to serve our customers with affordable yet highquality food that Funnside Ningnangan has always been known for,” he noted.
“With this new dining outlet, I want to help promote our Kapampangan cuisine. I have always wanted to invest here in our province because it’s my way of giving back to my roots. And when I decided which business to acquire here, Funnside Ningnangan was actually my first choice because of its good reputation and potential,” he added.
He then furthered that he and his management are steadfast on providing nothing but the best service to their valued diners.
“As a regular customers turned franchisee, I want to help the restaurant chain grow and expand. It is now my mission to continue Funnside Ningnangan’s trademark of excellence and consistently high-standard service,” he relayed.
Founded in 2009, Funnside Ningnangan, through the years, steadily grew in Pampanga and Bulacan, primarily because of its wide array of specialties including charcoal-grilled meat, seafood favorites, and dishes like bulalo, sinigang, chopsuey, and chicharon bulaklak. The restaurant’s well-curated Kapampangan menu complements its native, open-air ambience.
