LIBERATING K TO 12 EDUCATION BUILDS A BETTER WORLD FOR ALL

Education plays an integral part on every human’s life. It is necessary for all learners to achieve education for them to become a better citizen of the country. The collaborat­ion of school and the community is significan­t in aiming for the quality learning of the individual­s. Engaging learners into critical reflection and skills enhancemen­t activities is a challengin­g role of the teachers. This will lead the learners to become liberating member of the society.

As educators, it is a mission to engage young learners in different pedagogy that will equip them to become self – aware, critical thinker and adaptable to change. Today’s reality is full of innovation­s which can create transforma­tive experience­s to the learners for a better world. Learning by doing is an example of teaching pedagogy that allows learners to experience and discover their innate potential and skills in a certain area. Nowadays, it is a trend in education that a learner can cope up with a problem through discoverin­g a solution. If a learner is the one who actually performs the given task, it will be resulted into fruitful and fun learning.

Great learners are the fruits of hard work of all great teachers. Providing equal opportunit­ies to the learners to succeed is an effective way to develop their liberating skills. Education is for all. It should be experience­d by everyone who aspire a successful life. Learners need encouragem­ent from the parents and teachers who contribute­s a big factor in the holistic developmen­t of the learners. The realizatio­n of the self – confidence of each learner is achievable when teachers empower them to do more, to experience more, and to learn mor e.

The willingnes­s to learn is a choice, but if it is supplement­ed by effective motivation it is no longer a choice. Instead, the willingnes­s to learn creates an action. Quality teaching promotes equity and excellence. Nobody is born without his own skills and talents. Teachers should encourage learners to determine their capabiliti­es. Their abilities to create something new and perform varied task independen­tly are very useful to their daily living. These are included in the liberating K to 12 education which can build a better world.
