CAREFUL PLANNING FOR SUCCESS

Known to everybody that any person is striving hard to become successful in any field he is aspiring for, whether in pursuing studies. Dream to finish a course, have a stable job, business, personal and professional growth, preparing a family and needs, good relationships with other people. Goals are set for him to become a better and successful individual. All of these can be achieved if dreams are set with a plan goal.

Goal represent an outcome that a person want and toward which he directs his effort, a signpost to the future, telling which way to go. There are two kinds of goal, short- term and a long-term goal. Short –term goal has a timeframed of accomplishment, doing them today, tomorrow, next week or in a year. Long –term goal is a goal that is further in the future, represents you want in a year, two, or several years. These are the major target goals. They must be concrete in order to achieve them. Consider the S-M-A-R-T element goals for the plan of action, a goal should be specific, measurable ,achievable, realistic and time-bound.

How do you make sure that your short-term goals will lead you to longterm goal? The easiest way is to work backward in time , first formulating your long term goals and then thinking of all the steps to achieve the goal. Each step will represent a short-term goal. Think where you want to go in life, study and learn all you can do about your goal, set a time for achieving your goal, make sure all decisions are right. Give all your efforts and never stop trying, be positive thinker, once you achieve one goal, go to the next,

In achieving one’s goal, there may be hindrances and barriers. It may be external and internal barriers. An internal obstacle is a barrier that comes from within ourselves or from within the goal itself-such a goal that lacks all five SMART elements. An external obstacle is a barrier that a situation or another person puts you in your path. These obstacles must be overcome in order to reach your goal.

Most of all, the Bible says, any war will be overcome because of an efficient planning, success is the fruit of a good plan. Lacking of planning fails you, but if many advice received, success is achieved.
