He added that he will also make sure that ONA has enough medicines available to people “so that they don’t have to buy from pharmacies outside the hospital.”

“During the term of my father, former Mayor Tarzan Lazatin, there was a lot of medicines at ONA. There was also a Mayor’s Desk open to all and not just for selected few,” Lazatin said.

Being a staunch supporter of programs for senior citizens, Lazatin also vowed to provide free mandatory annual physical examinations and other medical-related benefits for Senior Citizens of Angeles City.

Additionally, he will grant a “non-wage” benefit to all public school teachers, in the form of free tertiary education at the City College of Angeles (CCA) for one of their dependents.

“We have many plans for education including maximizing the Local School Board (LSB) for the purchase of land for additional school buildings and classrooms, hiring of more teachers, purchase of books and other school essentials,” Lazatin said.

Meanwhile, as the author of Ordinance No. 364, S2015 or the Plastic bag and Styrofoam ordinance of Angeles City, Lazatin also vowed for its strict implementation and to create a more comprehensive solid waste management program.

In terms of infrastructure development, Lazatin said he will develop and establish new secondary road networks.
