Vice-mayoralty aspirant says Fernandinos deserve a choice

-

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— Incumbent councilor and vice mayoralty aspirant Angie Hizon on Wednesday said that the people of this capital city deserve the chance to have an alternative choice of whom to elect for vice-mayor.

“We have our own convictions and expectations with the way things are. I am not contented, we want more for the city,” Hizon stressed.

This, as she confirmed that she’s not threatened in her fight against re-electionist Vice-Mayor Jimmy Lazatin.

Hizon, who filed her candidacy on Tuesday, said that she is running as independent and has chosen to not to ally herself with political forces out of her own convictions and principles. She said there are certain forces in politics that they cannot control.

“You know politics, there are certain forces that we cannot control and there are certain political forces we will never be in the line-up (in Mayor EdSa’s team),” she furthered.

She said contending with the incumbent is a more challenging journey as she dismissed that she’s not a seasonal politician.

“Angie Hizon pu she is a decisive person. I stand for what say and do it for Fernandinos,” she exclaimed.

Hizon said once given a seat as vice-mayor, she pledges changes in the legislative department and “a quick response” services for the Fernandinos.

As councilor, she was able to support from her personal budget 96 scholars who graduated from senior high school.

“We will be able to do such from the P10 million budget of a vice mayor per year if given a chance. We can have more scholars at and we can extend more help to Fernandinos,” she added.

“To my fellow Fernandinos you how Angie Hizon works. Join me again in this fight,” she ended.
