Under the Gender and Development (GAD) Program schools are directed at building individual personality development among pupils. It aims to build independence and confidence on their personality. The idea of equality is instilled in their minds through different school activities.

Building the pupil’s understanding on the concept of their sexuality or gender by eliminating the limiting beliefs between a boy and a girl is one step forward. One famous limiting belief is the preference on the use of blue or pink. It has been long established that boys should wear or use blue while girls should use pink. With the GAD Program, this type of concept is eliminated little by little. In school lessons about gender equality and personality development are included in Health lessons to bring new concepts on accepting individual gender preference. As of now, boys are already seen wearing pink long sleeved polo which means they have already accepted that gender is not limited by color preferences or by traditional family values. The modern child is now confident in showing himself/ herself because no one is judging his gender or sexuality.

When these children who were taught of the GAD principles grow-up, they will be more independent and more successful because criticism and judgement did not hinder their development. They may express themselves freely and live confidently. They will not hide anymore. Their talent will be shown that will lead them to their success.
